Ferton X is a transparent epoxy rubber casting resin with a 1: 1 usage ratio. It has absolute transparency and a good rubbery effect, does not create bubbles and can be used in different sectors and for multiple uses (e.g. as a shockproof protective finish, it can also be used to incorporate objects, etc.).

If you are looking for a specific transparent resin for doming (embossed resin coating of adhesive labels or tags) our Domflex resin is the perfect solution.

The use of this resin is with the casting method and must therefore be poured into a mold made with cast or moldable silicone rubber (eg Rubber + silicone rubber casting, Ferton Angry Rubber, Ferton Tixo Rubber, rubber dough Gummy Gum).

Very easy to use and thanks to the 100:100 catalysis ratio both components must be weighed in equal parts (same weight). After weighing the two components with a precision balance, mix them together carefully, taking care to scrape the edges of the container and the bottom to obtain a homogeneous mixture in all its mass.

The curing time is about 24-48 hours and we remember that atmospheric conditions (in particular the temperature), have a significant effect on the product hardening times. For an optimal yield of the product, we recommend its use in environments with temperatures of at least 23-25 ​​° C. Higher temperatures can cause the product to harden in about half the time.

Once perfectly dried and deformed by its silicone mold, the product will have a rubbery texture to the touch. The resin will be more or less flexible depending on the thickness of the casting made, take care not to bend too much reaching its breaking point.
