The transparent epoxy resin finds greater use for its versatility, in fact, it is used in the decorative arts, fine arts, hobby, DIY, construction, etc. It can be left neutral or colored and shaded in different ways (eg colors for resins, powder pigments, micaceous pigments, alcohol colors, etc.) and with several different techniques.

It is mainly used: for casting in silicone molds, as a protective finish, to polish opaque objects as a creation in itself (rings, pendants, bracelets, earrings, cameos, etc.) or to create more sophisticated objects with the incorporation of some objects ( e.g. dried flowers, stones, pebbles, insects, etc.).

The use is very easy, just weigh the two components with a scale respecting the ratio of 100: 60 (by weight), i.e. adding 60% of part B to the quantity of component A. spatula must be mixed carefully and slowly, taking care to scrape the walls and the bottom well to obtain a homogeneous mixture throughout the mass.

To create a resin object, pour the liquid into a silicone rubber mold of the desired shape, from which it will be easily possible to unmold once catalyzed.

It is also possible to use this transparent resin with a brush to obtain a low thickness surface. The formulation is self-leveling and once applied it will tend to uniform over the entire surface, eliminating brush marks.

The product has a polymerization time of 24 hours (approximately), but remember that the temperature has a significant influence on these times. Environments with temperatures (> 25 °) allow to obtain a hardening of the casting in 12 hours or less. The mixing method can also lead to a lengthening of the catalysis time and we recommend not to manually mix large quantities of product.

The ductility of this resin allows it to be used in a variety of different sectors, activities and processing methods. Mainly the compound finds perfect application in:
