This flexible transparent casting polyurethane resin is ideal for creating scratch-resistant protective layers on surfaces, artefacts and objects. Furthermore, the flexibility feature makes this formulation specific for the Doming sector (embossed resin coating of adhesive labels, tags and medals).

Domflex is also a completely non-yellowing resin and after complete hardening it can be left constantly under natural and artificial UV rays without yellowing, changing color or streaks over time.

The catalysis ratio of 100: 100 (equal weight) of the two components makes this resin very easy to use. In fact, it will be sufficient to weigh the two components in equal measure on a scale and mix them carefully to obtain a perfectly homogeneous mass.

METHOD OF USE:

Thanks to the 1: 1 mixing ratio, using Domflex resin is very simple. However, before proceeding with the resin phase it is necessary to carry out a preparatory process of the substrate.

First make sure that the surface to be poured is perfectly clean and dry. A preventive passage at 65 ° C for a few minutes will eliminate any moisture present on the surface, this step is not mandatory but is recommended in order to avoid any problems during the drying phase and obtain a perfect final result.

Once the substrate has been prepared, it will be possible to proceed with the resin casting. Take a container and using a precision balance weigh the components A and B in equal weight (e.g. 10g A and 10g B), mix thoroughly, taking care to collect the edges and the bottom to obtain a homogeneous mass. (To obtain a perfectly mixed mixture, it is recommended to pour all the previously mixed liquid into a second container where it will be mixed again).

Let the mixture stand for a minute before pouring it onto the surface. Generally a thickness of about 2 mm is applied.

If the process has been carried out correctly, after approximately the indicated drying time has elapsed, the resin will be completely solidified, non-sticky, flexible and slightly rubbery to the touch.
