INNO-SL99 is an extremely hard and completely non-yellowing glossy transparent polyurethane enamel specifically for the finishing and protection of self-leveling epoxy systems, transparent epoxy resins, parquet and other plastic surfaces. Particularly suitable as a protective finish for resin and wood resin tables.

The product is a two-component easy to apply and can be given by spray, brush or short-haired roller. It has a high adhesion on the indicated surfaces, an excellent mechanical resistance, an excellent resistance to atmospheric and chemical agents.

INNO-SL99 is a VOC-free product free from any volatile composite.

N.B: the product is specific for epoxy, parquet and other plastic materials and is not suitable for metal surfaces and for outdoor use. For polishing and treatment of wooden surfaces use INNO WD or INNO WD AB

Why apply a varnish like INNO-SL99 on epoxy surfaces as a finish?

The surfaces made with epoxy resins despite having a good resistance and hardness as a base are still too fragile and easily suffer an inexorable degradation due to the wear and tear caused by human actions.

The treatment of all the surfaces indicated above with a two-component polyurethane enamel such as INNO-SL99 gives a special finish without comparison. The extremely hard enamel gives a protective layer with resistance characteristics superior to any other product. The purpose of the treatment is to slow down or significantly reduce the deterioration of the epoxy surface by exponentially increasing the surface hardness, chemical resistance, mechanical and scratch resistance allowing the resin product to have a longer life.

In addition, the polyurethane enamel gives shine and can be used as a final finish to restore the glossy appearance to the transparent resin which has an opaque appearance due to the mold used or deriving from sanding the surface.

How to apply INNO-SL99?

SURFACE PREPARATION: The surface must be clean, dry and free from dust and grease. To increase the grip of the product, it is recommended to pass the surface with a light coat of fine sandpaper (e.g. 400-500 grit).

The product consists of two components (A and B) which must be weighed by means of a precision balance in the ratio of 100:10 and mixed together carefully, paying attention to the bottom and walls, before applying it on the resin surface.

Subsequently, it will be sufficient to apply the product by spray, with a brush or with a short-haired roller on one of the surfaces described above.

To obtain a perfect result, it is recommended to apply several coats of the product.

Once the enamel has hardened it will be possible to sand the product if necessary.
