If you love DIY and have great creativity, making resin creations is a hobby for you. There are no limits to what can be created by letting yourself be transported by fantasy. The resin is a synthetic and viscous product, with the ability to harden cold or hot, its use extends widely from the field of construction to the artistic field. You can create bracelets, pendants, magnets, brooches, figures, puppets and cosplay accessories. Here below how to make resin creations.

The resin will be divided into two cans, component A and its catalyst in component B, from their mixing a chemical reaction will be introduced which allows to obtain a viscous compound suitable for the creations. Using an electronic balance as precise as possible, and using a plastic container, join the two previously weighed components and mix them with appropriate instruments. Mix to make sure the mixture is well mixed.

At this point the compound needs to be poured into a stencil, it is not possible to model it in any other way. It is possible to use any mold as long as they are strictly in polished silicone. The silicone molds are excellent because they prevent the mixture from sticking and comes off easily once dry and rigid, also avoid opaque molds that would compromise the brightness of your creations.

Proceed by pouring a first thin layer of resin inside the mold, this first part will correspond to the front part of your creation, then proceed by layers starting from the bottom upwards. In this first layer you can dip a sticker with the colored part facing downwards as a decoration. The decorations should be placed in different layers to avoid overlapping. In the mixing phase, the resin can be colored with appropriate varnishes. Let it dry for a few hours and then pour the rest of the resin up to cover the mold, in this step you can add some glitter or pigments at your pleasure.
Once dry, extract it from the mold and apply some hooks for earrings or necklaces.
