POLIDEMOLD is a release agent that when applied creates a surface film that allows the detachment of the pieces treated during molding with silicone rubber or other materials for molding.
The advantages of using this release product are numerous:

• Easy to apply by brush, roller or spray.
• Easy to remove residues by bathing in lukewarm water.
• It does not contain solvents and does not damage painted surfaces.
• Can be used on any type of material.
• It can be used for working at room temperature or for hot working (with polyester, vinylester and epoxy resins).
• Glossy finish.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:

Make sure that the surface to be treated is perfectly dry, clean and free of any contaminating agent. Porous surfaces (such as wood or plaster) are properly sealed with a primer before being used as a model or mold.

Once the surface to be treated has been correctly prepared, apply a reasonable amount of product over the entire area, paying particular attention to tight spots, corners and undercuts and not to leave uncovered areas. POLIDEMOLD has a red color to facilitate viewing both in the application phase and in the subsequent detachment of the piece.

This release agent must always be applied in one coat, as a subsequent application will remove the previous layer applied, creating an irregular film.

Wait for the complete drying of the film before proceeding with the lamination of the piece or the pouring of molding products such as liquid casting rubbers.

During the detachment phase, the film is transferred to the mold and must then be removed simply through a bath in lukewarm water (even in this phase the coloring of the product will make it easier for you to see any leftovers). Before reusing a model or a mold where the release agent has already been used, it is necessary to remove any old traces of film, always using water.
